Eaten

A red oak leaf that I brought back from Wisconsin to put on my light box. When I was collecting the leaves I caught a couple of the creatures responsible - tiny little 'inchworm' caterpillars less than a centimeter long! I hope that they are not a serious pest - red oaks are such beautiful trees.

I took the monster lens to the marsh this afternoon to try and get some egret shots but nothing doing on the bird front. Lovely and warm in spite of the grey skies - lots of butterflies out and about. You've got to admire the monarchs though - they were still dancing around even after it started to rain.
