Petal

Hogmanay is not my favourite day of the year, it just makes me feel melancholy.  It has been a year where we have seen the fragility of life and how easily it can be destroyed.  We have seen a lot of bullies in the world of politics and public life who think they are untouchable, but now some of them know they are accountable for their actions after all.  I hope 2018 is calmer.  Have a safe New Year.
