Cliffs at Duck Pond beach

A few days ago, there were no cruise ships expected in port today. Then a storm threatened a few Atlantic Ocean ports, and we were starting to prepare for two ships. Then we were down to one, so it turned out I didn't have to work today after all.

So we went for a drive and walked a beach at low tide, the fresh wind blowing off the water, cold and bracing, as the surf thundered against the polished rocks. And it was a glorious day!
