Its the Way It Is

Coastal company

Got up early, made soup and put it in soup flask, ham and cheese sandwiches and 2 kit-kats and headed out for the coast with my grand-daughter.

We started out at Dublin Port and then came back towards Blackrock. Had long walk up to the park, visited the market, sat on wall at DART Station and had our picnic. We did a little rockpool fishing ( with our hands but that was a bit cold - must keep nets in the car all year round), gathered shells and skimmed stones.

We then drove to Dun Laoghaire and walked the pier and headed up to People’s Park for coffee and hot chocolate.

All the time chatting away. We decided that what we hate the most in the world is soggy tomato sandwiches.

We are home about an hour and it’s raining heavily. We got the best of the day.

We will have something tasty to eat at about 6.30 and watch Home Alone together. I told her she can stay up to 10 tonight as a treat.

So when the rest of the world is out there celebrating - I will fall asleep before mid-night. All that lovely sea air, walking, chatting, eating and movie watching will make me drowsy.

I have had a lovely morning and afternoon on the coast of Dublin Bay with a great little girl

Happy and Healthy 2018 to everyone in Blip and thank you to those who have kept the wheels turning. Keep snappin’ everyone
