Light but no heat.

Popping noise and a couple of fuses blown. Now, everything works except the oven!  Just as well I'm not entertaining crowds this evening.  I have  sent off for a new heating element. In theory they're easy to fit, but I may get an electrician in. What do you think?

Update 9th Jan - now fixed! yes, I got an electrician in.
