One of Stephen’s requests when he came home was a walk along the coast. Today looked like the best day to visit although the tide times meant it needed to be a morning excursion.
The roads were quiet but Robin Hoods Bay had attracted the crowds. However, most people seemed to be wandering around the streets or popping into one of the many cafes. We were aiming to walk on the beach and then return along the Cleveland Way so we left the crowds behind.
The beach walk was great apart from the sound of boulder clay slumping from the top of the cliffs. The return walk through Boggle Hole gave wonderful views but was very muddy underfoot.
I can’t believe this marks yet another Blip landmark. Thank you to all who follow my journal and I look forward to meeting more blippers in 2018. A very Happy and Healthy New Year to you all.
