Why leave the house?

It was the type of cold that makes you feel ill the second you step out into it, and takes hours to warm up from. Too cold to go for a proper NYE hike or anything, but there was a dog to be walked and last-minute spending of tax-free money before year end to be done.

RTD is feeling poorly, so NYE in. Suits me.
