Crystal Ball

Well not really, but maybe it would be good to have one to see what 2018 has ahead for us, or maybe it is better that we don't know.
7 year old Eve came over to show me her crystal that came with a crystal growing kit she got for xmas, she was pretty keen for me to photograph it. Thought the colours were gorgeous.

I am so late getting blips up at the moment...and missing days, and even though the family have left we seem to have so many people popping in, and then there is swimming time with all the ladies at 2.30!

New Years Eve last night was fun, with many gathering on the reserve before dark, (extras). After an extremely late dinner with friends we popped over to a neighbour who was letting off fireworks before midnight. Discovered I still had my macro lens on, so the firework photos weren't very good...or maybe that was because of the bubbles! There is a huge fireworks display on the lake every New Year's eve and we often take the boat out to watch them, but Ian wasn't quite ready for that this year, so grabbed a shot of them over the houses.

Happy New Year to all, and may it be a great one.
