I went with Bill to visit Mum in law Jean who has been in various hospitals for quite a long time now. She is quite poorly. But I think she liked me visiting and Bill appreciated the company. We had tea and mince pies when we got back.
Harry came back from work and Selena back from Dorset so we had baked cheese and salad and bread for dinner, then took lots of sweet things in to nibble while we watched Harry Potter. H and S had a couple of bottles of wine and I had cups of tea. I started reading one of my new Christmas books but then struggled to get to sleep, so was wide awake after all the New Year fireworks had stopped.
