in a dark dark cave there is a dark dark..

This cave is quite spacious, it occupies a commanding position with fine views and has a south easterly aspect. However it has a rising damp problem which may put off potential habitees. Lighting is minimal but moody.

This cave has been around for awhile, it has ranged from being a neolithic burial chamber to a leadminers 'house' earning a mention in Daniel Defoe's tome published around 1726 'A Tour through the whole Island of Great Britain' when he came across a family living in it, he commented generally after peering in to it that it was clean and well looked after.

Unfortunately its all gone to the dogs since then and the local herbivores don't help much either..
