A New Year.

As I have seen elsewhere "A Happy New Year to all our Readers".

It was a slow start to the year having been up until around 2:00 am so ti wasn't until after lunch "The Mate" headed for home.  By way of fresh air I had a wander round the garden which for most of the year provides a steady stream of blips.

Not a lot to blip at this time of the year!  However the fattening flower buds on the Rhododendron caught my eye.   This made me think of the sunny days of late May early June.  Which on a cold dark New Year's Day was a pleasing thought.  So here it is a somewhat damp "darling bud of spring".
