Blue Mountains Icons 20

For the 20th icon I have chosen "waterfalls" - the generic variety. The Blue Mountains boasts a number of high and sometimes voluminous falls such as Leura Falls, Katoomba Falls. Minnehaha Falls, Empress Falls, Gordon Falls, Siloam Falls, Govetts Leap etc. Then there are some well known shorter falls such as Leura Cascades, Weeping Rock and Witches Leap

In addition to all those, are smaller locations - all over the place, along all sorts of bushwalk tracks. Some of them don't even have names (at least that I know of). These oft encountered minor but ever-present falls of water are our icon for today.

Incidentally I am going to continue to shoot the principal waterfalls by degrees but the best photographs usually depend upon periods of heavy and consistent rain. Despite the recent one-off snow, it's been fairly dry of late. We'll get 'em all in the end, though.
