Quack

As a part of the weekend's regatta and as light lunchtime relief, there's the duck hunt.
Organised by the local Lion's Club, over 1,ooo tickets were sold (at 5 euro a pop they make a pretty packet for charity) with prizes ranging from an electrobike (think battery assisted pedal power rather than moped you can plug in at home) to a candle lit dinner for two at the local Michelin starred restaurant to an Ice watch from the local jewelers.
The numbered ducks are tipped into the Ruhr and the some poor mug volunteer has to reach into the water and fish out the required number of ducks through a (fake) fox head.
We didn't win anything (but after yesterday we're used to that feeling).

Note: no animals were injured, or indeed involved, during this entertainment.
