Reeds

A happy New Year to everyone and may this year be a peaceful one.

A lovely afternoon for a walk with the dog.  These reeds have spread themselves in the old slurry pit.  It is extraordinary how waterplants suddenly arrive  and grow in the remnants of  muck and debris from the yards.   We also have a good number of bull rushes but I was unable to get a satisfactory photograph of them.

N and I had a cuppa with T and K and baby I who was enjoying her baby bouncer!
