Invasion

The ice is coming inside, pointing out the fact that the weather-tight windows simply aren't, as advertised. 

Turning the whole-house humidifier down would help minimize ice formation but maximize small electric shocks to the nose of the woollybear that's staying here till Friday. 

Seeing that he doesn't have a scientific understanding of dry air, friction and static electricity build-up, he's convinced that it's my fault when his nose get zinged and responds by recoiling the next time I go to pet him.

The annual purge continues. Anything that hasn't been worn or used since the last purge, is getting bagged up and donated. It's cathartic.
