Holiday meets term

The bumper car of relaxation meets the bumper car of work.

Both stand their ground but over the course of an INSET day work wins through and the holiday is but a distant memory.

As it should be, perhaps but still a small shock after 20 years of teaching.

Anyway, it was an interesting and fulfilling day, not something you can say about all INSET days.
