Porty Beach

Early (for the 3rd January) walk down on Portobello beach. There may have been slight incentive to go with coffee and a Chocolate Knot from Twelve Triangles. 
It wasn't as brisk as previous January walks we've had in other years, and in fact we didn't even put our feet in the sand. However it was nice and clear. Just wondering though, when did Porty beach become the place to dispose of your Christmas Tree?
