The restaurant of stewed boar

Today, I went to the restaurant of stewed boar with my husband taken by my friends.

We have made it a habit to go to the restaurant in New Year. Last year, we went to a Japanese restaurant to eat fresh sea food. This year we have decided to go to this restaurant to eat boar stew. The stew is made in Irori, sunken fireplace in a Japanese room. Warming ourselves at the Irori, we enjoyed chatting and eating stewed boar.
It is said that the meat of boar is smelly. But the stewed boar seasoned by miso, fermented soy beans was fantastically delicious. I think it is one of the pleasure in winter.
