Wet

This is the last week day of quiet before I start to do some things locally and then back to Parliament next week for what will be, the diary already indicates, a hectic month.

Not that Cathleen and I have been exactly idle  at home but at lunchtime we finally finished clearing the old study and this afternoon I got more or less the last consignment of papers, stationary and other items up unto the new one.

In between we went , once more, up the hill with Rula but this time we didn't escape the rain which came on - torrentially - after about 10 minutes of our walk.

Rula immediately decided to make for home as my extra photo shows.  But I rather liked this image of a padlock taken in the downpour when I was closing the forest gate.
