Is it worth the drive?

Last night there was a huge solar storm which hit the Northern Hemisphere so it was likely that the Aurora Borealis would be visible in the UK. However, the area around Edinburgh was covered in cloud and the Met Office was predicting it to clear a little later on in the evening. I was sat in the car coming back from a shoot in the studio and contemplating if it is worth the drive to find somewhere dark and hope for the clouds to clear.

Thankfully I chose the option that included drinking a nice cold beer and having something tasty to eat as the rain kept falling all night!
