Agapanthus

I've just delivered my eldest back to college. We probably won't see him now until February. With the (not so) little one back at school the house seems very quiet.

I popped into garden to see how things are looking. It's sodden and squelchy. The decking is slippery in the winter and the whole garden is a real mess. We are north facing so it's quite dark through the winter months and never really dries out.

This agapanthus was beautiful in the summer. It's gone to seed now and the colour is quite striking from the kitchen window.

The champagne will be leaving the fridge and going back into the wine rack today as we are being healthy. At least for a week or two.
