just foolishness

"That's not a toucan!"

Said I: "He's looking wan"
"And rather slow"
Said he.
Said I: "I know,
And with that I'll go"
Said he:
"Are you going into your shell?"
"Not at all" said I, "I wish you well"
And thus I left - with poise.
He called: "See, you're tired"
"That'll teach you" he cried
"No" I replied,
"That taught us"
