Nine Stones

My entry for this week's challenge, 'CULTURE'.  This location has the remains of a neolithic stone circle.  It is a remote spot in the moorland of the Lammermuir Hills, but at its time, this was arable land, as the climate was much warmer then, which is somewhat hard to believe now. The stones are still there, though tumbled and irregular, and the local gamekeeper has set a trap in one of them, as well as building some grouse shooting butts nearby which rather spoils the landscape.
