Beating The Bantams

Yeovil put on one of their best displays of the season this afternoon to beat League 1 Bradford City in the 3rd round of the FA Cup. That's the fourth time this season we've beaten teams from the league above us in Cup competitions.

Considering we only had 10 outfield players fit and available until we signed 4 players on loan yesterday, it was a remarkably fluent display, looking dangerous every time we attacked and very well organised when defending.

The blip shows our right back, Tom James (centre in thumbnail) heading towards goal in the first half.

All we need now is a fixture against a Premiership team in the next round when the draw is made on Monday.

Unfortunately, Chris couldn't be at the game having been laid low by a nasty virus. Some of the regulars who stand near us were suggesting after the game that he'll have to stay away more often - such are the superstitions of the fanatical supporter; I was wearing two of my pairs of lucky socks because it was so cold, so I might have to do that every game from now on :)
