Savernake Forest.

We took Islay for a muddy walk in the forest this morning. The light was gorgeous and it wasn't too cold. We drove to a different part of the forest to begin our walk and came across an area used as an ammunition dump during the Second World War.

We joined the village History Club a few months ago and attended a talk all about this. It was fascinating to visit this section of the forest today.
