Ripon Cathedral

Ripon Cathedral is a rather beautiful ancient church with a history dating back to the 7th Century.
Normally it is photographed from the west end of the building, or from the south, but in this morning's light, I thought it looked good viewed from the north through the trees. I had to use my spare hand to shield the lens from the low sunlight which otherwise caused some annoying lens flare. Apart from the border, this came 'straight out of the camera'.

I have included a shot from the other side in the extras.
