Spring onions and basil

Australian summers are getting hotter in the east over the past few years. This summer we got a bit smart and are choosing not to have much in the vege patch. There will be months of really hot weather so that means an enormous amount of waterin for probably little gain. Sad fact but true. Growing Spring onions as we also did last year were a special treat! Nothing says risotto like fresh basil and spring onions!
