Austin Detour

Haven't posted for a while but there is a back blip for New Year's day.  On Wednesday, our day off, the weather was clear and so a flight beckoned.  L had found an app on her phone called Detour which has a number of guided tours of cities around the US and Europe based on interesting histories and so we headed out to Austin for a tour of the city center and particular history around the 1870s which included a look round the oldest church (episcopal) in Austin and some rather grizzly murders that took place within about a mile of the tour.  Attached to the church was a labyrinth for meditation and prayer, which we walked around - this picture of L in the middle of the labyrinth.  Extras from the flight including a record of the effects of a rather generous tailwind - 154 Kts - almost 180 mph!  Good day out including my first landing and departure from an International commercial airport.
