A TINY, TINY FLOWER

....which I spotted while walking around Ulva Island, (a part of Stewart Island) south of the South Island of New Zealand.  A very special place and we were lucky the weather had cleared.  I loved listening to the history of the place - the birds, the flora and apparently it is one place you will spot a kiwi during the day.  Unfortunately this day we weren't as fortunate.  It was amazing that the birds weren't afraid of you and would happily walk up to you (can you believe it) and past you - there are no predators on the island and those predators that make it to the island are tempted by traps that are set.  The traps are not a problem for the birds.
