Fixed point MC6

This morning Is I started the sixth year of fixed point photography on the nature reserve. I take photographs twice a year at each of nearly 40 fixed points, first in early January and then in early August. The photographs are  used by the council in monitoring the heathland restoration.

The view from point MC6 isn't usually like this! The contractors who have been making the new scrapes for heather re-growth have left a mountain of debris right across the field of view at this point.
