Bright, sunny ..... but soooo cold!

Very frosty first thing but fortunately the roads and pavements were quite dry and ice free.

Before heading to the supermarket and the petrol station I took a quick visit to the Heritage Park. The loch was almost completely frozen .... I think the staff had worked hard to keep a small area ice free. The gulls and ducks manage fine but the swans struggle to move their large bodies over the ice.

It was too cold for taking photographs ..... when you can't feel your fingers it's not easy to press the shutter button so here is today's single photo taken on my way back to the car.
