A Path in the Woods

It was a beautiful day so we decided after bellringing to walk up to the walled garden. We are fortunate that as soon as we leave the house we are immediately in the green belt. Although being farmed at the moment much of it is set aside for housing and has been for the last 20 years or so. However its development is coming ever closer. If it all gets developed we will lose most of it and just be left with one or two little patches and some corridors like the one in the photograph.

It seems ages since I took my camera out on a walk. Before I left I decided to try and challenge myself a little bit. I set the dials to manual and black and white and this was the result.
