Our wood

We planted this half-acre woodland about seven years ago. It doesn't look like it from the photo but there are 300 trees. The deer guards are to prevent the resident roe deer eating them. When they're big enough to split their guards, which some are now doing, they are are past their most vulnerable stage. I was advised about species by the Lake District's tree specialist; they are all native broadleaf trees.
