Which Side is the Bread Buttered?

We have become immortalised in concrete as of today, thanks to a late arriving Christmas present. The children debated which of them was represented by which figure. It was all very amicable, until attention turned to us parents when Master H asked if ‘Daddy is the grey one?’ Miss C helpfully contributed by adding ‘Is that because of his hair?’ As if to add insult to injury!

Naturally, words cannot convey my utter disappointment.
