Agile workplace

I hear collaboration, mobility, flexibility, improved productivity etc. are the motivations towards agile workplace. I guess the real reason is cost. Every company is looking at ways to reduce cost, which is fair and makes sense.

My biggest concern with this concept is missing out on human touch. I feel one is attached to a workplace through his/her office desk, which is personalized. Agile workplace makes it very cut and dry.
