At the Mapua Wharf

It was a great day today with daughter and teenage Granddaughter accompanying me to Richmond where we spent the day browsing, shopping, eating and just enjoying each others company.

On the way home we called at Mapua Wharf to have a look around. The tide was coming in and although it was overcast, it was still quite warm.
There were a lot of people strolling around and children were jumping off the wharf and having fun in the water. The photo is taken looking upstream a little way to where there was a little dinghy moored.

At last I have manage to get a wide angle blip on a Wednesday. I don't know about the theme of light/shadow although there was a lot of light for an overcast day.
