Waking in my own bed.
Reading my current novel and drinking a cup of coffee in bed.
Lighting all the candles and electric lights.
Watching the glorious sunshine burst into the room some time after 9, and make the above superfluous.
Opening my last present to Keith.
Catching up on blip journals, commenting.
Sending electronic birthday cards to loved one in Ireland and just now in Kenya.
Reading the Guardian properly, at least some of it.
Taking down a fair amount of Christmas stuff, and leaving the favourites.
Eating a late and tasty breakfast of granola and yoghurt.
Unpacking, putting things away, washing others, admiring gifts and purchases.
Not working, because the text hasn't arrived yet.
Feeling sleepy and knowing I can just go to sleep when I need to - without missing anything.
Experimenting with settings on my camera, inspired by finding a few neat ones last week. (camera is several years old, and I am obviously slow on the uptake)
Using up the stumps of candles in a polished (once a year, at Christmas!) brass candlestick.
