Lake View

I checked out part of a route that a walking team member is leading as a Girlguiding Hertfordshire social walk on Saturday. It’s very close to home and partly in Panshanger Park so it would be a good one for me to go on, but I’m going to be teaching some of the modules of Level 1 Walking Scheme for Anglia Region, in Bedfordshire. That will be a new experience for me which I’m looking forward to.

So this blip is of the second Lake in the Park. The shrubs and plants all around the edge have just been cut back so we can now see a lot more of the lake and birds on it.

This evening we tried to get the Scouts help with programme planning for this term. Mostly they were very good and had some interesting ideas, but the usual 5 mucked about to some extent and our star of the show was up to his usual tricks and bad language. Fortunately the Troop Leader has finally decided our star performer has had too many chances and we are cracking down on the poor behaviour. At last.
