Full lap

The boy went to his Auntie's funeral today (yep another one!). Both Esther and Iris were both really clingy which I can only assume is because Si has been around everyday for a good three weeks now. Esther would jump on my lap anytime Iris cried and refused to get off so I couldnt get to Iris. Also if I gave Iris a toy, Esther would snatch it off her and say 'mine'. Why do they do dog training classes but not child training classes? I'm out my depth. I need a day at the childminders to see how it's done!

The boy saw his Uncle from Oz at the funeral. He now has a house on Phillip Island about four miles from the penguins. I do wonder if we should just rent the house out and move over there for a couple of months and see how it goes, especially now the boy is looking for a job again.

Reasons to be cheerful:
Both my girls clearly love me lots.
There aren't killer spiders in the UK.
