At the Top

We dashed out this afternoon to skin up the 700 meters to the top of our local lift. SP hoping to collect her skiis from the shop after yesterday's frustrations. No such luck, they wern't ready the shop needed a boot in order to fit the bindings. Whilst we should have realised this equally the shop should have told SP.
So leaving a fuming SP, I set off up the hill thinkng she was going cross-country skiing. However, she is a determined lady when she makes her mind up to do something. Retrieving a very old pair of skiis and skins she set off like a train and arrived at the top only a few minutes after me! That's my girl!
