A day at a time....

Granddaughters

This weekend we went down to Walsall to visit our granddaughter, Jessika, and her partner, Carl, and our great grandson, TJ, who is still being treated for leukemia.

TJ is now out of hospital although he has regular visits to B'ham Children's Hospital to ensure he is still clear. He looks well, though smaller than he should be for his age. Not surprising, really. But he was delightful to be with. A lovely, good natured, happy little boy. He'll be one year old very soon!

The photo is of his beautiful mother, Jessika. She has been absolutely amazing throughout TJ's treatment. Virtually living at the hospital 24/7 for months on end. We are extremely impressed and very proud of her. You can imagine how happy she is to be 'free' and living at home with her little family.

We went for a walk in the arboretum which is where this is taken.
