Patience

I have blipped the rowan tree that sits just inside the passholders entrance to the Parliament before but today, walking past it for the umpteenth time, I bothered to read the plaque again and was struck by the dates on it.

Clever of someone in the Parliament to think of doing it this way - commemorating the Jubilee but ensuring that this space was filled in just the right way at the building’s inauguration.

Now it flourishes and adds a great deal by way of elegant contrast to the architecture that surrounds it, which is illustrated in my extra photo.
