Cabin Fever

It is only January but Wild Cabin Fever has set in for the cats. This is Persey, the Twink sitting on the tallest cat shelf in the living room. He is looking out of the east window hoping to see something interesting... or even moving.
There is a narrow shelf under the windows for the cats to run from one end to the other. At the time of this photo Gracie T-t was sound asleep on the opposite carpeted shelf. I have rarely seen both of them up on their "gym" at the same time.
They can go outside if they want, but both do not like that white fluffy cold stuff on the ground, so inside for the rest of winter it is.
And we are in the midst of the January Thaw with above zero temps, melting snow, mud, and fewer layers of clothes.  It ends after tomorrow with a high of at least 55ºF.  That's nearly tropical for me. The weekend will be another MINUS 15ºF. We will all have cabin fever after that!
