Sir Walter Scott's gargoyles

I have walked right past the Dark Tower so many times and I've never noticed the circles of gargoyles until today, the afternoon sun highlighted them really nicely against the blue - grey sky.

More pictures will surely follow, there's a dragon one lurking at the other side that I will have to hunt down in the morning.
