Beamed direct from the National Film Institute....

...to my favourite cinema in Brighton, Dukes at Komedia, this is the premiere of the biopic.  I'd like to know what other blippers think of it.  The first half was a straightforward  run through his early days with bands such as the Roosters, Yardbirds, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. The second half when he retreated to his mansion and disappeared into alcohol and drugs went on a bit. He certainly made heavy weather of his life. I got the feeling there was a tinge of autism about him.  Patti Boyd said that sometimes when she tried to talk to him he'd answer her with a guitar riff.  All credit to his honesty though. Now he seems settled which was a relief to us viewers I think, as well as him!

The extra is a shop opposite the cinema. Very "Brighton"!
