Arboreal aspirations

Even the smallest of plants dream of being part of a forest! I'm finally clearing some of the 'dead, brown and depressing' stems and seedheads in the garden, still leaving some in piles for overwintering invertebrates. This is the head of one of the Achilleas, a wonderful genus for a whole range of insects through the year.
