But these roadworks are in fact causing in the centre of Wellington. I was lucky to catch this just as the lights went green and so the road was clear. However the traffic was backed up right through the centre one way and almost out to the roundabout going the other way (approximately ¾ mile). They are lasting about 8 weeks so I am told! The only plus is that the temporary lights give longer than the fixed ones for some of the flows!
