Off with their heads

The Tulips are very definitely past their best now, they'll be relegated to their final resting place tomorrow.

It's been a very grey day here weatherwise but we met up with some of the gang (some others have gone to Norway for the weekend!) and had a super lunch at one of our favourite local pubs which sits just beside the canal.  A peek view in Extra.  I was surprised to see eggs still in an abandoned nest right on the edge of the canal.  The eggs looked a little small for Swans, and a little white for Ducks?
