A day for keeping your hat and coat on!

It's cold and practically deserted but I do love being able to go down to the beach and see the changing moods of the seascape.
I look at the horizon and know that I've sailed right around the world, seen the view from the top of Table Mountain, watched the deep red sunset in Sydney Harbour, seen the massive cloud that shrouds New Zealand giving it its Màori name of Aotearoa (the land of the long white cloud); I've swum in Pacific lagoons and partied on volcanic black beaches in Tahiti, yet if anyone was to ask me  where in the world I'd most like to live, I'd be lucky enough to answer, 'right where I am.'
