to replace a button on a favourite pair of trousers leads me to my father's, or perhaps grandfather's, box of brass items. The shape is effective. But is there an issue of military etiquette in wearing an RA pip? Or shall  I just pretend that (as I once did) I support The Arsenal (as I still think of them).
